For working through this course you need some "special" software. All required software is freely obtainable in the internet, i.e. without cost:

The Chime plugin from MDL (for 3D representation of molecules), a VRML plugin and a Java plugin from Sun (e.g. for the overviews).

Please make sure that Java, Java plugins, Javascript and style sheets are activated in your browser options:

Netscape: Menu "Edit" --> "Preferences"; choose "advanced" in the menu and activate "Java", "Javaplugin", "Javascript" and "style sheets" on the right.

IE: Menu "Tools" --> "Internet options ..."; choose register card "Security"; at least "Medium-Low" should be chosen, or in Custom Level "Java" and "Javascript" should be activated.
