Title: The explicit isomorphism problem

Abstract: 
The explicit isomorphism problem is the computational problem of given a field k and a k-algebra A that is known to be isomorphic to M_n(k) for some n\geq 1, to find an explicit isomorphism. We will discuss known results and present new ideas using Galois descent and algebraic geometry.
