Title: Algebraic relations preserving the endomorphism ring of CM j-invariants

Abstract: A theorem of André classifies the curves in the complex affine plane that contain infinitely many points whose coordinates are CM j-invariants. I will present joint work with Gabriel Dill where we prove a variant of this result for finite fields.
