MOLGEN+ 2.0
A tool for molecular structure elucidation
An indispensible tool for structure elucidation of today are computer programs. Lucky
who has software which is powerful as well as covering
a broad range of problems - with an easy-to-use interface. This is what MOLGEN+ 2.0 offers.
Many functions combined
The graphical user environment of MOLGEN+ combines all modules:
- A
structure generator creating
all constitutional isomers to a given brutto formula. The results can be shown by a fast
2D-display.
- The molecule editor
enabling the user to create his own substructures for generation.
- A 3D placement calculator computing spatial coordinates of
the atoms based on a simple energy model; they can be visualized by
the display module MolView.
- And a
stereo-isomer generator
creating all configurational isomers to given structural isomer and computing spatial realizations of them.

with information for the untrained as well as for the skilled user
and about the mathematical background is included.
