The Classification of p-Groups by Coclass

Abstract:
Since the conjectures of Leedham-Green and Newman have been proved, a
more detailed analysis of the classification of p-groups by coclass has
become necessary. With the knowledge on pro-p-groups of given coclasses
the p-groups of these coclasses can be classified into subclasses. Using
extensive computational evidence, it is possible to give some very
detailed conjectures about the structure of these subclasses and about
the behaviour of p-groups in terms of coclass.
