Thurnau is a small town lying about 20 kilometers to the West of Bayreuth.
The talks will be in the castle of Thurnau,
where the "Wissenschaftszentrum Thurnau e.V." is located.
Accommodation will be in the castle (14 rooms available) and
in hotels/pensions nearby.
To reach Thurnau by car is fairly easy - see the map below.
As Thurnau has no train station any more, we suggest you to
go to Bayreuth by train. We will try to arrange a lift.
So please be so kind as to tell us, when you will arrive at Bayreuth
train station.
