The installation
To begin with you
first of all restore the files of the delivered
SYMMETRICA diskette into a directory by using the appropriate restore command.
Having done this you will see that among many others the
following files are available:
makefile, def.h, macro.h, install.doc.
All the files, the ones mentioned above as well as the various files ending
with .c (which contain the programs, while the files ending with
.doc contain documentation), should be in the same
directory. In the directory USER you will find the LaTeX-files of the
present manual.
After that either you read the documentation file
install.doc
or you run through the appropriate one of the following sections which describes
the first steps to be done depending on the operating system
of your computer.
